Is the IPI Key allowed on planes?
FAQ – IPI Key on planes
Yes, it is. The device receives and transmits radio frequency according to the Bluetooth 4.0 standard for a short distance, and does not need to be turned off in an aircraft, according to FAA instructions from October 31, 2013.
If you use personal medical devices (such as pacemakers and hearing aids), consult with your doctor or the manufacturer to find out whether they are protected against external RF signals.
